13th Australian Light Horse (Queensland Mounted Infantry


The Role of Armour in the Australian Defence Force is defined as:

"The co-ordination with other arms, to close with and destroy the enemy forces using fire, manoeuvre and shock action."

The 13th Australian Light Horse Regiment (QMI) was a Light Horse militia unit in Queensland.

 His horse, Paddy, was previously owned by the notorious bushranger, Paddy Kenniff, the last bushranger hanged at Boggo Road Jail.
