The Australian Light Horse Field Ambulance were mounted
medical units who served provided medical aid and transportation of the
wounded, during World War
I.
Casualties lie under a canvas shelter at a dressing station, probably operated
by the `A' Section, 5th Light Horse Field Ambulance.
