Lieutenant Colonel Hubert Harris of the 5th Australian Light Horse Regiment (left), and Colonel Granville Ryrie, Brigade Commander of the 2nd Light Horse Brigade Egypt 1915. Lieutenant Colonel Harris was later killed in action at Gallipoli on 31/7/1915.
