Royal Australian Armoured Corps - Badges, Uniforms & Insignia

The Role of Armour in the Australian Defence Force is defined as:

"The co-ordination with other arms, to close with and destroy the enemy forces using fire, manoeuvre and shock action."

The regiments of the Royal Australian Armoured Corps wore a variety of uniforms and badges. These pages will attempt to illustrate the uniforms and insignia worn from 1948 onwards. Insignia specific to a regiment, will be shown in that regiment's pages.
