3rd/4th Cavalry Regiment - Current Role

The B Squadron 3rd/4th Cavalry is a regular army APC Squadron based at Lavarack Barracks in Townsville and is equipped with the M113A1 family of vehicles. It is currently designated as an Armoured Personnel Carrier (APC) Squadron.

B Squadron consists of two Line Troops, and one Support / Recon Troop. Each Line Troop consists of 15 M113A1 APCs.
