Noble

Lieutenant Colonel Roger John Henderson Noble, CSC

Lieutenant Colonel Noble enlisted in the Australian Regular Army on the 22nd
of January 1984. He graduated from the Royal Military College -Duntroon in 1987,
with a Bachelor of Arts with Honours. He attended the Australian Command and
Staff College in 1999. He has Master of Business Administration.
Lieutenant Colonel Noble has held numerous postings within the 2nd Cavalry
Regiment including Troop Leader, Squadron Second In Command, Squadron Officer
Commanding and now Commanding Officer.
Lieutenant Colonel Noble has also served as the Adjutant of the 1st armoured
Regiment, the Staff Officer Grade 2 Land Operations, Strategic Operations
Division, the Staff Officer Grade 1 Force Development, Army Headquarters and as
the Aide de Camp to the Chief of Army.
Lieutenant Colonel Noble has seen operational service in: Iraq (38th Chemical
Destruction Group after the First Gulf War later known as UNSCOM), in East Timor
(Operations Officer Headquarters Sector West) and in Afghanistan (Operations
Officer Australian Headquarters).
He
is currently the commanding officer of the
